You’ve got great platform skills, a great message, and wonderful energy, but what is your audience actually learning? This session provides key factors to assist you in designing your presentations for real learning. You will experience the importance of Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) and you will practice using language that works. You will see why and how to move from ILOs to learning activities. You will explore designing active learning and effective learning activities in various contexts (keynote to training).
We will consider the importance of and how to implement assessment for learning and the value of assessment of learning.
